Congratulations to Jen & Tony who hosted an amazing wedding at The Hideout near Kirkwood & Lake Tahoe. I don’t think you could ask for a more beautiful venue. It was a real treat to be out in the mountains and create images of this lovely couple, who truly expressed their authentic selves in every aspect of the day. Thank you for letting me be a part of your celebration! It was a wonderful reminder of how important it is to get off the grid.

One of the images from a destination wedding I photographed in Oaxaca, Mexico was published in the Spring/Summer issue of Grace Ormonde Wedding Style. The editor mentioned that they choose from 80,000-100,000 images for each issue!

Speaking of destination weddings, I recently attended a great workshop on wedding workflow with Gene Higa, a San Francisco based photographer specializing in destination weddings. All you photographers out there, if you are looking for a chance to get your creative juices flowing I highly recommend Gene’s workshops. He is teaching workshops in beautiful Bali this December…check out is blog for more details. Both Gene and his studio partner Ann Hamilton are amazing photographers.
